3.5.1.7 Backup to Local Disk
Here is an example of how to backup to local disk.
1. Create a Backup Plan by using the “Create” button while in Backup List tab
of Data Backup function.
2. Setup the Backup Plan. Enter the Backup Name and select the shares to
backup. Leave the Type and Backup Method as is. In the Destination option,
select Local Disk. The Disk option will display the available (free or un-used)
local disk. Select the disk you want as destination for backup, if more than
one free disk are available. Click “Save” when done.
3. To perform immediate backup, click “Backup” button. A warning message
will be displayed. To proceed and confirm formatting the disk, select “Yes”.
NOTE: After the local disk is formatted, the succeeding backup
processes will no longer require formatting the disk.
