6. Bullet Terminal distribution panels accept Bullet Terminal Circuit Breakers, TPS Fuse Holders, and GMT Fuse

Modules.

Install bulled distribution devices as shown in Figure 55.

Action

Install bullet distribution devices into the Bullet Distribution Panel as shown in the figure above.

Loosen screws and swing hinged retainer cover clear of the distribution devices (if present).

Verify voltage and polarity between the Return bus and each distribution input bus using a voltmeter.

Verify that:

1. Load equipment is ready to be energized
2. Load equipment wiring polarity is correct at the input of the load equipment.

Connect Loads as described below for each type of circuit breaker of fuse holder.

GMT Fuse Holder

GMT Module must be installed before load connection is made.
Install GMT Module into specified bullet positions.

Secure GMT Module Return bus bar to the distribution panel Return bus bar with provided nuts.

Torque to 65 in-lb - 7/16” socket.

Strip Load and Load Return wires 3/8” and secure in the GMT module terminal block.
Torque to 13 in-lb - screw driver.

Dress and wire tie with service loop to provide strain relief.

Verify (using a voltmeter) polarity of the voltage between the Return bus and the distribution input bus.

Verify wiring polarity at the input of the load equipment.

Do not install load fuses until the load equipment is ready to be energized.
