The Configuration Wizard
The Configuration Wizard guides you through the configuration and calibration of your printers. Generally, you always have both of
the following buttons available in every configuration dialog:
You get from one dialog into the other via N E X T .
Back will bring you back to the previous dialog.
Name / Connection
Printer Name
This text field allows you to change the name of the
printer.
TCP/IP
Type in the TCP/IP address of your printer or use the
H O S T N A M E of the printer.
When all settings are made, click on
N E X T .
The role configuration of the printer is now checked and
included calibration profiles libraries are installed. During the
following calibration you can also search for additional profiles
on
your hard drive or CD. You will then automatically get to the
window
P L A C E M E N T .
Placement
Define output paper size
First you may choose among the radio buttons whether the
printer is allowed to P R I N T O N N E X T A V A I L A B L E
P A P E R S I Z E , P R I N T T O N E X T S T A N D A R D S I Z E or the
printer is allowed to A L L O W P R I N T O N E X A C T P A P E R
S I Z E .
Before you can choose P R I N T T O N E X T S T A N D A R D S I Z E
you need to define the allowed rollwidth by clicking on the
button right side from
P R I N T T O N E X T S T A N D A R D R
S I Z E .
To use N E S T I N G you need to choose P R I N T O N N E X T
A V A I L A B L E P A P E R S I Z E , the following options will be
available then:
