Select [ : Viewfinder brightness].

Turn the < > dial and select either [Auto] or [Manual].

Press the < > button. Check the effect in the viewfinder while
shooting.
Manual
Use the < >< > key to adjust viewfinder brightness, then press
the < > button. Check the effect in the viewfinder.
