The following figure gives you an example overview of the various SMT menu screens for
your ZyWALL.

LAN Setup

Use this menu to apply LAN filters, configure LAN DHCP and TCP/IP

settings and configure the wireless LAN port.

Internet Access Setup

Configure your Internet Access setup (Internet address, gateway, login,

etc.) with this menu.

DMZ Setup

Use this menu to configure your public servers connected to the DMZ

port.

Route Setup

Use this menu to configure your WAN route assessment, traffic redirect

properties and failover parameters.

Remote Node Setup

Use this menu to configure detailed remote node settings (your ISP is

also a remote node) as well as apply WAN filters.

Static Routing Setup

Configure IP static routes in this menu.

NAT Setup

Use this menu to configure Network Address Translation.

Filter and Firewall

Setup

Configure filters, activate/deactivate the firewall and view the firewall

log.
