• Description: a description of the location (i.e., forward pick, staging,
receiving, picking, storage).
• Quarantine designation for the location: check the box in this field
to designate this location as a quarantined location. If a location is
assigned a “quarantine” designation, items cannot be stored or moved
from the location without a workstation override.
Adding a
Location to A
Site A location is added to a Site at the Locations form. Select Manage >
Inventory > Locations to display the Locations form.
1. If you have multiple sites enabled, and have the rights to view and
modify all sites, click the Site drop-down arrow in the Site field, and
select the Site to which you are adding a location. (If only one site is
entered in the database, the Site field is disabled. If you do not have site
viewing rights, the default site is automatically entered in the Site
field.)
2. Click the Add button found along the bottom of the form. A new loca-
tion line is entered in the data section of the form. The Site field is auto-
matically filled and the cursor is placed in the Location field. Enter the
Location ID in the Location field.
3. Press the <Tab> key to advance to the Description field. Enter the
location description (i.e., forward pick, staging, bulk storage, receiving)
in the Description field.
Assigning a Location Quarantine
A location may be assigned a quarantine designation. A location with a
quarantine designation cannot be used to store or move items. Check the
box in the Location Quarantine field to assign a quarantine designation to
a specific location:
Note: IntelliTrack ISRP allows overrides to quarantine locations.
