To delete an item:
1. Click the drop-down arrow in the Item # selection field (at the top of
the form) to display the list of inventory items.
2. Select the desired item from the drop-down list. Item data is retrieved
and displayed for the selected item.
3. Click the Edit button found along the bottom of the form to place the
selected item in Edit mode.
4. Click the Delete button to remove an item from the system. (Confirma-
tion is requested by a dialog box. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.)
Adding
Inventory
Button Though quantity is usually added to inventory as part of a physical count,
in some instances you may want to add an item quantity to inventory by
way of the Item Data form. The Item Data form contains an Add to
Inventory button along the bottom that opens the Inventory Data form
with a record already present for the selected item. The Add to Inventory
button is activated when you add an item and click the Save button found
along the bottom of the form, or you edit an item and click the Save button
found along the bottom of the form:
