shipping information for the selected customer from the drop-down
menu list that appears.

If kits are part of the new picking order, enter the amount of kits needed
(instead of individual item entries) in the Kits Needed field. Next, click
the drop-down arrow in the Select Kit field and select the particular kit
used in the order. Each item from the selected kit is added to the record
detail.

9.

You will see a Line # field in the order record portion of the form. If
auto-numbering is selected for line numbers, the line number will be
automatically entered into this field. If auto-number is not being used,
enter the line number in the Line # field. Press the <Tab> key to
advance to the Item # field.

10.

Click the drop-down arrow in the Item # field and select the item # for
the new picking order. Next, press the <Tab> key to advance to the
Ordered field.

11.

In the Ordered field, enter the total item quantity of this pick order.
(This amount may be higher then the on hand quantity of the item if
you are placing the pick order against an anticipated receiving order.)
Next, press the <Tab> key to advance to the New Pick field.

12.

In the New Pick field, enter the amount of the item to be picked at this
time.

Note: The item must be entered into inventory in order to be picked. If you
attempt to pick an order from a location without enough inventory, you will
need to adjust the inventory in this location, or decrease the pick amount.

13.

Repeat steps 10-13 until all of the order’s items have been entered.

14.

When you are finished, select the Do It button found along the bottom
of the form to process the new order. (To cancel the new order, click the
Cancel button.)

15.

Click the Close button to exit the form.
