folder in your Check In Out directory, double-click the restore util-
ity file restore.bat. The most recent backup file, backup.dat,
found in the databackup folder in your Check In Out directory, is

Important:The Backup and Restore batch files are created during the data-
base installation and they use the database settings from the installation. If
the database settings are wrong, the utilities will not work. If you change
the database settings, you must update them in the batch files. (You may
edit the batch files in Notepad.)

Databackup Folder Permissions

Important: The databackup folder in your program directory must have
proper permissions in order to create a backup database with the backup
utility.

In order to back up your database with the backup.bat utility, the
databackup folder in your IntelliTrack Program directory must
have read/write access for the service account that SQL Server uses for
the server instance containing the database being backed up. Typically, this
account is named the Network Service account. To make sure that your
databackup folder contains the necessary permissions, please refer to
the steps that follow.

1.

First, identify the name of the service account that SQL Server is using
for the server instance containing the database being backed up. In
order to identify the name of the service account, go to your computer’s
Administrative Tools, which are available from the Control Panel.
