ISRP Architecture

IntelliTrack ISRP is built on the three-tier architecture rec-
ommended by Microsoft for client/server environments.
Three separate areas integrate to form your IntelliTrack
ISRP product: the workstation application, the server, and
the database; thus forming a scalable client/server that
can handle a large number of users against a large data-
base. IntelliTrack ISRP minimizes network traffic by shift-
ing transactions to the back end through a middle tier that
provides accessibility to upgrades.

Kitting

A “kit” represents a preset group of items, of varying
quantities. When the kitting process is used in the Intelli-
Track ISRP Inventory, Shipping, Receiving, Picking sys-
tem, predetermined items that are part of a kit, are picked
from inventory when the kit item number is selected as
part of a pick order.

Lot

An inventory grouping that is identified by a number,
alphanumeric character, etc.

Multiple Units of Measure

Allows you to define a base unit (each) of measurement,
and then higher increments of the base unit such as car-
ton, bundle, and case for the items in stock. If you plan to
implement multiple Units of Measure, it is important to
accurately define and list these measurements so that
they are available in the IntelliTrack ISRP application.

New Pick Quantity

The amount of the item currently being picked against a
picking order.

New Received Quantity

The amount of the item currently being received against a
receiving order.

On Hand Quantity

The amount of the item available.

Order Number

The numeric identifier for a picking or receiving order. You
have option to enable auto numbering for picking and
receiving orders in the System Options form. Be aware of
sort order constraints when entering order numbers.
Make sure you include enough spaces to act as a place-
holder for the number. If using auto numbering for your
orders, we recommended using a new starting number
with at least 5 numerals (10000).

Order Status (for receiving and
picking orders)

The system status of the order. An open order has not
been fully processed by the system. A closed order has
been fully processed by the system.

Paperless Picking and Receiv-
ing

Receive new orders into inventory or pick existing orders
electronically, without the use of a printed document.
