Introduction

IntelliTrack Inventory lookups help you accurately track site, item, and
inventory data by maintaining up-to-date lists for critical information.

Lookups in the application include:

Lookup information may be added to the appropriate form directly, or by
entering the new data in the appropriate field at the various forms in the
application. For information on each lookup category and how to work
with lookup information at the Lookup forms, please refer to the sections
that follow.

Warning: When entering data in the application, DO NOT USE special
characters or quotes with the exception of dashes, dots, and spaces. Except
for dashes, dots, and spaces, if you use special characters or quotes when
entering data in the application, the database will become corrupted. For
more information, please refer to

“Precautions When Entering Data” on

page 42

Category

A category refers to the types of items or goods stocked in your facility. A
category could be related to a product type or in-stock inventory type such
as raw materials or finished goods. Categories are maintained in the appli-
cation at the Categories form. When entered in the Categories form, the
Category list becomes available for category selection in various forms.
Hence, it is important to list the categories that you use at this table. To
add, edit, or delete a category from the Categories form, please refer to the
sections that follow.
