If you do not send the security settings, security is not enforced in the
batch portable application.

When you send application data such as sites, locations, items, inventory,
and the customer/employee list, the batch portable application will validate
the collected data against the data list. For example, if you are collecting
inventory on the portable application and add an item to inventory that is
not part of your item list, the application will notify you of this and give
you the option to discard the entry or add it as a new item. Please note that
if you do not send workstation application data to the batch portable appli-
cation, all entries will be allowed.

Note: To send only the required system data (language options and User
IDs), do not set any options in the
Send Data tab.
