Measure Lookup table makes them available as UOM selections in Intelli-
Track DMS Inventory. If you plan to implement multiple Units of Measure,
it is important to accurately define and list these measurements at this table
so that they are available in the Inventory application. To add, edit, or
delete a unit of measure from the Measure Lookup table, please refer to
the sections that follow.
Adding a Unit
of Measure To add a unit of measure (UOM) to the Measure form, please refer to the
instructions below.
Warning: When entering data in the application, DO NOT USE special
characters or quotes with the exception of dashes, dots, and spaces. Except
for dashes, dots, and spaces, if you use special characters or quotes when
entering data in the application, the database will become corrupted. For
more information, please refer to
“Precautions When Entering Data” on
page 42 .
1. Select Manage > Lookup Tables > Measure option from the ribbon.
The Units of Measure Lookup table appears.
2. Click the Add button to place the form in Add mode.
The cursor is placed in the field above the Unit of Measure list.
3. Enter the new unit of measure in the field. Click the Save button. The
new unit of measure is placed in the Unit of Measure list.
