Maintaining System Users

System users are added by the administrator. Each user is assigned an
access level, which grants or denies security privileges to the user. For
more information about security privileges, please refer to

“Assigning

Security Privileges to System Areas” on page 66

.

Level 1 grants full administrator access. It is the highest access level.

The lowest possible access level is Level 9.

You do not have to assign all nine levels of access. If you want to use
only five levels, then 5 would represent the lowest level of access in
your hierarchical system.

“Adding

Users” on page 68

.

Important:To define or modify security rights you must have administrator
access to the application.

Adding Users

To add a new user to the system, refer to the instructions that follow.

1.

Select Tools > Security > Users option in the ribbon; the Users win-
dow appears:

Click the Add button found along the bottom of the form.
