UPS WorldShip®-WMS Integration

For UPS WorldShip® customers, IntelliTrack WMS offers an integration
feature that enables you to send picking order data to the WorldShip appli-
cation. The data received by UPS WorldShip from WMS will populate the
UPS WorldShip Shipping Detail with information such as Company,
Address, Contact Information, and UPS Service Type. The data exported
back to the Shipping form in WMS for this order will include the UPS
tracking number, shipping charges, and delivery method.

WMS integrates with UPS WorldShip® in two ways:

1.

UPS WorldShip will accept WMS data through an “import map” that
you must create. This map associates the correct shipping data fields in
WMS with the correct fields in UPS OnLine WorldShip. This process
is called “keyed import” in UPS OnLine WorldShip.

2.

WMS will accept UPS WorldShip data through an “export map” that
you must create. The export map will allow you to associate the correct
shipping data fields in UPS WorldShip with the correct shipping data
fields in WMS. This process is called “keyed export” in UPS World-
Ship.

Important: To integrate IntelliTrack WMS with UPS OnLine WorldShip,
you must be a UPS customer using UPS OnLine WorldShip 6.0 through
10.0 software to process your UPS shipping activities. The instructions
and examples in this section follow UPS WorldShip v10.0.

To use the WorldShip Integration process successfully, be sure that you
have:

Entered all shipping methods used with UPS in the Shipping Methods
Lookup table in WMS. For more information about shipping methods,
please refer to

“Shipping Method” on page 63

.

Entered the correct Ship To information in the Ship To IDs tab of the
Customers form in WMS. For more information about entering cus-
tomer shipping information, please refer to

“Adding Customer Shipping

Information” on page 128

.
