The server is found in the 1. Select to enter a server name field. (This
is the SQL Server that runs your database.) To change the database
server, click the drop-down arrow in this field to view the list of servers
and select the server name\instance name (if you are using an instance
name) on which the database resides. If it is not listed, type the server
name in this field.

The server log on information is found in the 2. Enter information to
log on to the server
field. Make sure this information is correct for the
server chosen in step 3, above. Select the Authentication mode used
by this server:

Windows NT Integrated Security: mark this option if you use
your Windows username and password for SQL Server login.

Use a specific user name and password: mark this option if you
use SQL Server authentication to log into SQL Server; the following
fields become enabled:
User name: Enter a valid user login name in this field. The default
IntelliTrack username is sa.
Password: Enter a valid password in this field. (The default Intelli-
Track sa password for SQL 2008 is IntelliTrack#2008.)

Next, select the new application database by clicking the option button
next to the 3. Select the database on the server: selection and then
clicking the drop-down arrow in the field underneath this option. If the
database is not listed, enter it into the field.

Verify that the new database is connected to the server. Click the Test
Connection button. If the database is attached to this server, you will
receive a “successful connection” message.
If the database is not attached, select the Attach a database file as a
database name: option by entering the logical database name for
