system form name in the Title Bar of each WMS form. If this feature
is not enabled, the form’s title appears in the Title Bar.

Replace On-Hand Quantities: Check this box to enable this
option. If enabled, this option replaces on hand quantity for an item
in the Inventory Data form with the portable or imported inventoried
quantity, if a discrepancy exists between them. If not enabled, you
are able to manually process the portable or imported inventoried
quantity. (Inventoried quantity is not used by the system. It must be
moved to on hand quantity to be used by the system.)

Note: The on hand quantity represents available item quantity. The inven-
toried quantity represents the quantity from a physical inventory count; it
is useful for comparing WMS on hand quantity with the physical count
results when auditing inventory.

Auto Delete Locations With 0 Inventory: Removes an item from a
location when a transaction reduces the item count to zero. If not
enabled, items with a zero count will remain, and must be deleted at
the Purge form (for more information, refer to

“Purging Inventory

Data” on page 25

). To enable this option, check this box.

Allow Release Lock After (Minutes): Enter a time limit in this box
to establish a lock period (in minutes) for any item or order being
edited in the system. The default lock setting is five minutes.

When this option is set, the system is locked when any item or order
is being edited in the system. Hence, if you try to edit a locked item
or order record, a dialog box appears, telling you that the record is
locked by another user and cannot be edited.

When the lock period expires and a user attempts to open a locked
item, a dialog box appears telling you that the record is locked by
another user and asks you if you want to release the lock. Click Yes
to release the lock and edit the record.

Note: A lock setting of zero minutes keeps an item or order locked indefi-
nitely, until the changes are either saved or cancelled.

Limit of Entries on Pull-Down Menus: Enter a number in this box
to limit the size of the drop-down menu lists in the system. The
default system limit is 1000. (Setting a limit for the size of the drop-
down list can improve data retrieval time in a large database.) Once
the limit is exceeded for an entry, the drop-down list is disabled and
