Important: If security is not enabled, security rights are not enforced.

Security is not enabled at application startup. Before you set security
rights for each system user, you must enable security.
•
To enable security, check the Enable Security check box. When
enabled, security is activated and the privileges defined in the Security
tab are enforced. (If disabled, no security restriction is enforced and all
defined privileges are ignored.)

You are able to add system users and assign user tasks: everyone who
will use the system should be entered as a system user. This gives you
the ability to restrict the actions each user is allowed to perform by
assigning specific user tasks. Usually you will set up the user tasks at
the same time you add a user. However, user tasks can be changed at
any time.
