Adding
Inventory
from the Item
Data Form
Though quantity is usually added to inventory as part of a physical count,
in some instances you may want to add an item quantity to inventory by
way of the Item Data form. The Item Data form contains an Add to
Inventory button along the bottom that opens the Inventory Data form
with a record already present for the selected item. The Add to Inventory
button is activated when you add an item and click the Save button found
along the bottom of the form, or you edit an item and click the Save button
found along the bottom of the form:
When the Add to Inventory button is activated, you are able to add on
hand item quantity to inventory. For more information about this process,
please refer to the instructions that follow:
1. Click the drop-down arrow in the Item # field and select the item to
which you are adding on hand quantity.
2. Select the Add to Inventory button found along the bottom of the Item
Data form.
