Introduction

The history option enables your system to continually monitor warehouse
activity. Specific inventory, receiving, and picking transactions throughout
the system are monitored and placed in a history table, which may be
viewed at the View History form. History information is also included in
several system reports.

Note: History logging keeps track of most warehouse transactions,
including those generated on portable data terminals. It is a useful option
for identifying who performed specific transactions; where (Site and Loca-
tion) and when (Date) these transactions occurred; the item number
involved in the transaction; and the transaction’s effect on item quantity.
We recommend using this option to track your system transactions.

When you use the History feature, the View History form is enabled. For

Viewing Transaction History

When you use the history option, you are able to view warehouse transac-
tion activity data for any period of time at the View History form.

Note: The Log History option must be selected in the System Options
Form/
Options tab in order for this form to contain up-to-date system data.
To view net balance totals for items in the History log, you must enable the
Log History option. For more information, please refer to

“Setting System

Options” on page 39

.

To open the View History form, select View > View > History Selection
from the ribbon.
