Shipping Method
A “shipping method” represents a delivery method by the carrier. For
example, UPS “next day air” is a shipping method. You are able to assign a
carrier shipping method to a carrier in IntelliTrack WMS via the Shipping
Methods Lookup table, which lists the delivery method(s) by carrier. To
add, edit, or delete a shipping method from the Shipping Methods Lookup
table, please refer to the sections that follow.
Adding a
Shipping
Method Shipping methods are tracked by carrier name and shipping method in the
system. You are able to add a shipping method (such as “second day air”)
to a carrier via the Shipping Methods lookup table. Select Manage >
Lookups > Shipping Methods.
Warning: When entering data in the application, DO NOT USE special
characters or quotes with the exception of dashes, dots, and spaces. Except
for dashes, dots, and spaces, if you use special characters or quotes when
entering data in the application, the database will become corrupted. For
more information, please refer to
“Precautions When Entering Data” on
page 20 .
The Shipping Methods lookup table appears:
To add a Shipping Method:
1. Scroll to the bottom field of the Shipping Methods table and click in it.
2. Place the cursor in the Carrier field. Click the drop-down arrow in the
Carrier field and select the carrier from the list that appears.
