Order options include:

Automate Order Numbering: When enabled, this option automates
order numbering for picking and/or receiving order records in WMS.
To have the system automatically generate an order number for picking
order records, check this box in the Picking column. To have the sys-
tem automatically generate an order number for receiving order
records, check this box in the Receiving column.

Starting Order Numbers: The field becomes enabled if you choose to
automate order numbering for picking and/or receiving order records.

For picking order records: By default, the system enters 10000 as the
starting order number for picking order records. If you want to enter
another number, enter it in this field.

For receiving order records: By default, the system enters 20000 as
the starting order number for receiving order records. If you want to
enter another number, enter it in this field.

Note: If you enter a starting order number for picking order records or
receiving order records besides the default number, be sure that the new
number does not conflict with existing orders.

Require Ship To: This field relates to picking orders only. Check this
box to require that each picking order record contain “customer ship
to” information.

Require Customer: This field relates to picking order records only.
Check this box to require that each picking order record contain the
“Customer ID”.

Require Vendor: This field relates to receiving order records only.
Check this box to require that each receiving order record contain the
“Vendor ID”.

Over Pick/Receive Order: To allow the system to pick more than the
order amount, check this box in the Picking column. To allow the sys-
tem to receive more than the order amount, check this box in the
Receiving column.

Next Wave: If you use the wave feature to pick orders, you are able to
specify the starting wave number (the default starting wave number is
100) in the Next Wave field, if desired. To specify the starting wave
number, enter the number in the Next Wave field.
Waves must be auto numbered to prevent duplicate numbers in the sys-
tem. If you enter a specific starting wave number that differs from the
default starting wave number, be sure that it doesn’t conflict with any
existing wave numbers in the system.
