enabled, the underlying data is dated 1/1/30 (January 1, 1930).
FIFO picking can also be enabled when the expiration date option is
selected.

FIFO Picking: The FIFO (First In, First Out) Picking option
becomes enabled if the Expiration Date feature is activated. Check
this box to activate FIFO picking.
If enabled, IntelliTrack WMS lists the locations of items being
shipped in the order of their expiration date. For example, to put
away a box of perishable items into location 1A11 with an expira-
tion date or received date of 3/16/2010 and another box of the same
perishable items into location 1B11 with an expiration date or
received date of 4/20/2010, location 1A11 is listed first when select-
ing a location to pick from when picking an order.

Pallet ID: When Pallet ID is selected, it enables Build Pallet and
Move Pallet forms in the workstation application, allowing you to
create and use pallets to move large amounts of material in the ware-
house. Check this box to activate the Pallet ID feature.

Next Pallet: If you use the pallet feature in IntelliTrack WMS, you
are able to specify the starting pallet number (the default starting
pallet number is 10000) in the Next Pallet field. Enter the starting
Pallet number in the Next Pallet field.

Important: Pallets must be auto numbered to prevent duplicate numbers
in the system. If you enter a specific starting pallet number that differs
from the default starting pallet number, be sure that it doesn’t conflict with
any existing pallet numbers in the system.

Cubing: Check this box to activate the cubing feature. If activated,
the cubic size of the item may be created for the item’s units of mea-
surement (i.e., each, box, and case) and stored in the item’s record
(at the Item Data form). When prompted to perform a move, receipt,
or put away, the system is able to determine space availability in a
particular location. If a location has insufficient space to accommo-
date the material, the system directs the user to select another loca-
tion. The user can also override and store the item in the location.

Multiple UOM: Check this box to activate Multiple UOM. If used,
an item can be stored in multiple units of measure. WMS provides a
Let Down process that converts a larger unit of measure to a smaller
unit of measure. Units of Measure define a base unit (each) of mea-
surement, and then higher increments of the base unit such as carton,
bundle, and case for the items in stock. You are able to list your
defined units of measure at the Units of Measure Lookup table; thus
