Purging
Customers/
Vendors Data
Customer and vendor records are not Site specific, hence all Customer and/
or Vendor records in the system will be purged when you select either
option.
1.
To purge all customer records in the database; check the Customers
check box in the Lookup Tables section of the form.
2.
To purge all vendor records in the database, check the Vendors check
box in the Lookup Tables section of the form.
Purging
Lookups
Lookup data is not Site specific, hence when you choose to delete a
lookup, all lookup records in the system, regardless of the Site selected,
will be purged.
Note: Deleting the Lookup table entries does not delete these values from
the existing database data, (i.e., orders with carrier ID’s still retain those
deleted table values).
1.
To purge carrier information, including the carrier shipping method(s),
mark the Carrier check box. The Shipping Methods check box is
automatically marked.
2.
To purge carrier shipping methods only, mark the Shipping Methods
check box.
3.
To purge units of measure listings, mark the Units of Measure check
box.
4.
To purge item kit listings, mark the Kits check box.
5.
To purge category listings, mark the Category check box.
Performing a Data Purge
After you make your purge selections as described in the sections above,
you are ready to purge your data.
To purge your data, click the Do It button found along the bottom of the
form.
