Deleting a Location
If you need to delete an individual location from the database, you may do
so from the Locations form. Be aware of the database constraints: you can-
not delete a location if it has inventory associated with it.
To delete a location from the Locations form, please follow these instruc-
tions:
1. Scroll to the line of the entry you want to remove, and click in the line.
2. An arrow appears in front of the line entry, indicating that this line has
been selected. Click in the arrow at the beginning of the line to select
the entire line.
3. Press the Delete button found along the bottom of the form.
4. A query box appears, asking you if you are sure you want to delete this
record. To continue with the deletion, click Yes. (To cancel deleting this
location, click No.)
5. If the location contains inventory, an error message appears, telling you
the Location has inventory. Click OK to return to the Locations form.
You are not able to delete this location.

Locations FP-001 through FP-0005 and 01-A-01 through
01-A-06 show a location sequence for picking and put
away.
Locations REC and SHP1 have a pick and put away
sequence number of zero, which is outside the sequence
number range, hence these locations are excluded from
location sequencing.
