EGRESS-RATE-LIMIT
Syntax
egress-rate-limit
value
Parameter
value
Specifies the maximum amount of traffic that can be transmitted
from the port. The value is kilobits per second. The range is 1 to
40,000,000 kbps. The maximum rate for 10G ports is 10,000,000
kbps.
Mode
Port Interface mode
Description
Use this command to set a limit on the amount of traffic that can be
transmitted per second from the port. By default, the value is not specified.
When you specify a value, which is not an increment of 64, the switch
rounds up the specified value to an increment of 64.

Example
This example sets the egress rate limit to 8,000 kilobits per second on port
1.0.13:
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface port1.0.13
awplus(config-if)# egress-rate-limit 8000
