SPANNING-TREE LOOP-GUARD
Syntax
spanning-tree loop-guard
Parameters
None
Mode
Port Interface mode
Description
Use this command to enable the BPDU loop-guard feature on a port. If a
loop-guard enabled port stops receiving BPDU packets, the switch
automatically blocks the port to prevent a loop from occurring. The port
remains in the blocking state until it begins to receive BPDU packets again
or the switch is reset. The default setting for BPDU loop-guard on a port is
disabled.
Note
This command is applicable only when RSTP or MSTP is enabled.
To disable the look guard feature on a port, use the NO SPANNING-TREE
LOOP-GUARD command.

Example
This example activates the BPDU loop-guard feature on ports 1.0.1 to
1.0.48:
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface port1.0.1-port1.0.48
