Configure Traffic Permits and Fixups
Use caution when configuring traffic permits and fixups. We recommend you use
the default values.
To configure traffic permits or packet fixups, follow these steps.
1. Click the Advanced tab.
2. In the Traffic Permits grid, choose one of these options for incoming and
outgoing packets that are not handled by NAT:
• Pass-Through—Permit the packets to pass across the NAT boundary.
• Blocked—Drop the packets.
3. In the Fix-up Packets area, check or clear the checkboxes to enable or
disable protocol fixups for ARP and ICMP.
By default, fixups are enabled for both ARP and ICMP.
