Spiral Layout
&XUYH 6SLUDO 
The Spiral Layout screen is used to compute station locations on a
spiral curve.
Radius : is the radius of the circular curve.
Spiral Length : is the length along the spiral
curve from TS to SC.
TS station : is the station at the TS point.

Interval : When checked, is the spiral arc
distance that is added or subtracted from the
Current Station using the
6WD  and 6WD ±
buttons.
Current Station : is the station on the curve that
is computed.
6ROYH : solves and displays the details for the specified spiral curve.
6WD  : decreases the
Current Station by the specified Interval.
6WD  : increases the
Current Station by the specified Interval.
/D\RXW : computes the location of the
Current Station .
Results
Station : is the current
station.
Deflection : is the
horizontal angle to the
current station as if
occupying the TS and
backsighting the Spiral
PI.
Long crd. : is the chord
