KN3CV198 THE TREND RECORDING INTERVAL (interval) IS LESS THAN THE NCP
COLLECTION INTERVAL (interval). TREND RECORDING FOR NCP
RESOURCES HAS BEEN DISABLED.
Explanation: NCP trend recording cannot occur if the global trend recording
interval is less than the NCP collection interval. At OMEGAMON II for VTAM
initialization, NCP trend recording is disabled if the NCP collection interval is
larger than the global trend recording interval
System Action: Trend recording is turned off for NCP resources.
User Response: Use the Global Monitoring Options panel to increase the trend
recording interval to a value greater than or equal to the NCP collection interval
and then re-enable the NCP trend recording option, or use CICAT
reconfiguration to decrease the NCP collection interval to a value less than or
equal to the trend recording interval. Decreasing the NCP collection interval
requires a restart of OMEGAMON II for VTAM.

Explanation: The trend recording interval must be greater than or equal to the
NCP collection interval. At initialization, if the collection interval exceeds the
global trend recording interval, NCP trend recording is turned off.

User Response: If you want NCP trend recording, change the NCP trend
recording interval or the NCP collection interval so that the trend recording
interval is greater than or equal to the NCP collection interval. Then turn NCP
trend recording on.

Explanation: While entering NCP default monitoring options, a value for NCP
topology update interval was specified that was less than the NCP collection
interval specified during CICAT customizaiton of OMEGAMON II for VTAM.
System Action: NCP default monitoring options are not updated.
User Response: Set the NCP topology update interval greater than or equal to
the NCP collection interval.
