Explanation: A write of records having a length longer than LRECL was
attempted.
System Action: Some truncated data may have been written. The member
could have been corrupted.
User Response: Ensure that the member’s former contents are restored if this is
the wrong dataset. If this was the intended dataset, then reallocate it using the
correct RECFM and LRECL.

LU0 SESSION ESTABLISHED FROM SLU APPLID=applid

Explanation: A logon has been initiated by a VU Client to the VU Server task.
The applid identifies the remote VU Client APPLID which initiated the logon.
System Action: VU Server logon continues.
User Response: None. This is an informational message.

USERID=userid TRACE=trace RUSIZE=rusize

Explanation: A logon has been initiated by a VU Client to the VU Server task.
The userid identifies the USERID specified during the logon. The trace indicates
the level of trace message requested by the VU Client during logon. The rusize
indicates the maximum number of bytes that may be contained in the VTAM
request units transmitted to the VU Client.
System Action: VU Server logon continues.
User Response: None. This is a diagnostic message issued when TRACE
options have been enabled.

KOGVL03S

UNABLE TO LOCATE VU SERVER ANCHOR BLOCK=address

Explanation: An attempt to locate the VU Server Anchor Block has failed. The
address

specifies the location returned by anchor block look-up routines to find

the common block of storage used to store global execution flags and parameters.
This message normally occurs if a logon is attempted while the VU Server is
terminating or while the CT/DS address space is terminated.
System Action: VU Server logon fails and the LU0 session with the VU Client
is terminated.
User Response: Call Candle Customer Support if this message occurs during
normal operation of the CT/DS address space.

KOGVL04S

INVALID USERDATA OPTION=options

Explanation: Invalid USERDATA parameter was specified in the logon request.
The options value specifies the invalid values found in the USERDATA string
passed by a VU Client during the logon.
System Action: VU Server logon fails and the LU0 session with the VU Client
is terminated.
User Response: Verify that valid values are specified in the USERDATA field of
the product LOGON command.
