INVALID REQUEST=reqtype FROM SLU APPLID=applid
MATCHNO=prcno

Explanation: An invalid request type for a VU request was specified by the VU
Client. The reqtype identifies the invalid request type specified by the VU Client.
The applid identifies the SLU APPLID of the VU Client. The prcno identifies the
process ID of the VU Client. This message is issued when an improperly formatted
VU API service request is received by the VU Server.
System Action: VU Server rejects the request and transmits an error response
to the client.
User Response: Ensure that the matching version of the VU API is used to
communicate to the VU Server. Also ensure that unauthorized applications do not
issue logon requests to the VU Server session. If this error message reoccurs
contact Candle Customer Support for further diagnosis.

UNABLE TO SEND RESPONSE PACKET STATUS=status

Explanation: An attempt to send a response to a VU Client by a VTAM session
has failed. The status value specifies the return code issued by the VTAM LU0
SEND service routine. This message is issued when an abnormal termination of a
VTAM LU0 session occurs.
System Action: VU Server makes no further attempts to notify the VU Client
of the disposition of the service call.
User Response: Verify that normal LOGOFF processing is used to terminate
VTAM sessions between VU Clients and Server address spaces. If this error
message reoccurs contact Candle Customer Support for further diagnosis.

UNABLE LOCATE SESSION FOR LRN=lrn

Explanation: An attempt to locate a session logical resource required to send a
response to a VU Client using a VTAM session has failed. The lrn value specifies
the logical resource number associated with the VU session/path logical resource
that could not be found. This message is issued when a VTAM session is
terminated while active service requests are in progress.
System Action: VU Server makes no further attempts to notify the VU Client
of the disposition of the service call.
User Response: Verify that session LOGOFF is not issued until all service
requests issued by VU Client processes have been completed.

VTAM LU0 SEND ERROR STATUS=status SENSE=sense

Explanation: An attempt to send a response to a VU Client using a VTAM
session has failed. The status value specifies the return code issued by the VTAM
LU0 send service routine. The sense value specifies the sense code issued by the
VTAM LU0 send service routine. This message is issued when an abnormal
termination of a VTAM LU0 session occurs.
System Action: VU Server makes no further attempts to notify the VU Client
of the disposition of a service call.
