3. You can change or disable the connection description used for each condition in the automatic

connection description selection process. If you disable the connection description for a given
condition, IzoT Commissioning Tool will select the next defined connection description. You can
also change the maximum number of target network variables used to select between the Alias
Unicast and Default conditions. The default value of 5 provides a good balance between total
transaction time and network resource usage.

4. Clicking Details opens the Connection Details dialog, in which you can modify pre-defined

connection descriptions or create new ones.

5. Click OK to return to the Smart Connection Descriptions options.

6. Click OK.

Changing the Connection Description for a Connection

You can quickly change a connection description used for a connection by manually selecting a new
one. To manually select a new connection description, right click the connection, point to Set
