Upgrading IzoT Commissioning Tool Standard Edition to
IzoT Commissioning Tool Professional Edition
You can upgrade a copy of IzoT Commissioning Tool Standard Edition to IzoT Commissioning Tool
Professional Edition if you need support for more networks. The Standard Edition supports up to five
networks and the Professional Edition supports an unlimited number of networks. Upgrading from
IzoT Commissioning Tool Standard to IzoT Commissioning Tool Professional does not upgrade the
Visio edition. To upgrade from IzoT Commissioning Tool Standard Edition to IzoT Commissioning
Tool Professional Edition, follow these steps:
1. Order the IzoT Commissioning Tool Standard to Professional Upgrade Key (Echelon model
number 38070-400) from your Echelon Sales representative, Echelon distributor, or the Echelon

2. Use the License Wizard to return your OpenLNS Standard Edition following these steps:
a. Open the Echelon License Wizard. Click Start, click Programs, point to Echelon License
Wizard, and then click License Wizard. The Echelon License Wizard opens. Click Next.
b. The Step 1: What would you like to do? dialog opens.
To return your IzoT Commissioning Tool software using the over the Internet or via e-mail,
click Manage Product Licenses and then click Next.
To upgrade over the phone, click Show Advanced Tasks, Upgrade a Product License over
the Phone, and then follow the instructions in the License Wizard. If your computer is
offline, upgrade via e-mail if you have e-mail access because upgrading over the phone
requires manually entering many lengthy alpha-numeric strings.
c. The Step 2: Which License Would You Like to Manage? dialog opens. Select Return
from the Action column of your IzoT Commissioning Tool license, and then click Next.
