g. The Step 4: Status dialog opens. The License Wizard confirms the creation of the license
request file.
h. Click Send Request to Echelon to e-mail the license request file to Echelon at
[email protected] . Echelon will send you an e-mail message with a license response
(.elwrs extension) file. You can upgrade your license faster by copying the license request
file to an Internet-connected computer with the License Wizard installed on it and importing it
into the License Wizard. The License Wizard creates the license response file, which you can
then copy to the original computer.
i. Import the license response (.elwrs extension) file into the License Wizard and return your
IzoT Commissioning Tool Standard license following these steps:
• Start the Echelon License Wizard.
• In the Task Selection dialog, click the Show Advanced Topics link, and then click the
Process a License Response File Obtained from Echelon option.
• The Import License Request or Response File dialog opens. In the File Name
property, enter the full path of the license response file (.elwrs extension), or click
Browse and then select the file. Click Next.
• The Check License Response File dialog opens. Confirm that the Echelon product
licenses in the license response file are the ones you want to activate. Click Next. The
License Server installs and upgrades the licenses in the license response file.
• The Status dialog opens and confirms that the IzoT Commissioning Tool licenses have
been successfully upgraded.
3. Your IzoT Commissioning Tool Standard Edition license is disabled.
4. Echelon will send you an e-mail message with an activation key for the OpenLNS Commissioning
Tool Professional (Without Visio) Activation Key product.
5. Use the License Wizard to install your license for the OpenLNS Commissioning Tool Professional
(Without Visio) Activation Key product. See Manually Activating IzoT Commissioning Tool in
Chapter 2 for how to activate your IzoT Commissioning Tool Professional license.
Renewing IzoT Commissioning Tool Annual
Maintenance
You can renew your annual maintenance for OpenLNS Server and IzoT Commissioning Tool before
they expire. Renewing your OpenLNS and IzoT Commissioning Tool annual maintenance enables
you to continue installing software updates and upgrades. If you do not renew the products’
maintenance, you can still use the products; however, you will not be able to upgrade it with updates or
upgrades released after your annual maintenance expired. You cannot renew your annual maintenance
after it has expired. Once it has expired, you must purchase a new activation key to be able to install
any updates or upgrades released after your maintenance expired.
To renew your annual maintenance, purchase an OpenLNS Commissioning Tool Professional
One-Year Maintenance Renewal (Echelon model number 93800) or an OpenLNS Commissioning
Tool Standard One-Year Maintenance Renewal (Echelon model number 93810). Echelon will process
your order, and your maintenance coverage will be extended so that you can continue updating and
upgrading OpenLNS and IzoT Commissioning Tool for an additional year.
Transferring IzoT Commissioning Tool Licenses
You can transfer your IzoT Commissioning Tool license from one computer to another using the
Echelon License Wizard. Transferring your license lets you upgrade or switch your IzoT
