AUX1 – Heat/Cool Disable or Fan Proof Of Flow
This input can is used to allow the Heating or Cooling on the HVAC unit to be
disabled when this input is SHORTED to the GND terminal. This input can also
be used instead for a Fan Proof of Flow Switch. In this configuration, when the
Fan Proof of Flow Contact is closed, the unit will operate normally; if it is open
the unit will not operate. The AUX1 input must be configured through the System
Manager or Prism software for the application you want to use.
AUX2 - Filter Alarm
This input allows connection of a Dirty Filter switch. An alarm condition is
created at the System Manager when it is SHORTED to the GND terminal. This
input is typically connected to a normally open switch contact.
AUX3 - Forced Occupied Mode
This input allows another system to force the Zone Manager into the Occupied
mode of operation when it is SHORTED to the GND terminal. This input is also
useful as a test when checking the system during unoccupied periods. This input is
typically connected to a normally open switch contact.
2.2.8 Expansion Board Outputs
Several additional outputs are available by connecting the OE352 2 slot expansion base
board to the Zone Manager. The OE352 can be populated with one OE355 4 Analog
Output Expansion Board and one OE357 4 Relay Output Board or with two OE357 4
Relay Output Expansion Boards to provide extra stages of heating and cooling and/or
modulating heating and cooling outputs for the Zone Manager Controller.
OE355 4 Analog Output Expansion Board
AOUT1 – Modulating Cooling Device Output
Provides a 0-10, 2-10, 10-0, or 10-2 VDC output to control a Modulating Chilled
Water Valve or a Modulating Chilled Water Circulating Pump.
AOUT2 – Modulating Heating Device Output
Provides a 0-10, 2-10, 10-0, or 10-2 VDC output to control a Modulating Hot
Water Valve, Modulating Hot Water Circulating Pump, or SCR Electric Heater.
OE357 4 Relay Output Expansion Board
Relay Outputs 6 to 9 – Cooling Relay Outputs
Provides up to 4 Relay Outputs for Cooling Stages in addition to the 2 Relay
Outputs available for Cooling Stages on the Zone Manager.
Relay Outputs 10 to 13 – Heating Relay Outputs
Provides up to 4 Relay Outputs for Heating Stages in addition to the 2 Relay
Outputs available for Heating Stages on the Zone Manager.
