2. Enter the IP address or host name of the destination device in the Trace Route field.

Prerequisites
• Enable sending of ICMP timeout packets on the intermediate devices (the device between the
source and destination devices). If the intermediate devices are H3C devices, execute the ip
ttl-expires enable command.
