Note 2: Wiring

• All wiring shall comply with local installation requirement.
• The cable entry devices shall be of a certified flameproof type suitable for

the condition of use.

Note 3: Operation

• Keep the "WARNING" label to the Detector.

WARNING: DO NOT OPEN WHEN ENERGIZED. INSTALL IN

ACCORDANCE WITH THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL.
USE AT LEAST 150

؇C HEAT RESISTANT CABLES.

• Take care not to generate mechanical sparking when accessing to the

detector and peripheral devices in hazardous location.

Note 4: Maintenance and Repair

• The detector modification or parts replacement by other than authorized

representative of Yokogawa Electric Corporation is prohibited and will void
IECEx Flameproof Certification.

Note 5: Cable Entry

• The type of cable entry is marked near the cable entry port according to

following codes.

• In case of ANSI 1/2NPT plug, ANSI hexagonal wrench should be applied

to screw in.

• The blanking elements shall be of certified flameproof type, suitable for the

conditions of use and correctly installed.

installed, and resist heat so that they can be used in the operating
environment, should be used.
