SYSTem:ERRor:CODE?
Description:
Returns the next queued error code number. Note that errors are stored in a ―first-in-first-out‖
queue, so if more than one error has occurred, repeating this command will report the error codes
in the sequence they happened. The action of reading an error removes that error from the queue,
so once the most recent error has been read, any more queries will report a code of zero. See
Appendix A for a more detailed description of the error codes that may be returned.
Syntax: SYSTem:ERRor:CODE?
Returns: <numeric error code>
Valid Modes: Any
SYSTem:ERRor:COUNt?
Description: Returns the number of errors that currently exist in the error queue. A value of 0 means that there
are no errors in the queue. Therefore, either no errors have occurred, or all errors have been read.
See Appendix A for a more detailed description of the error codes that may be returned.
Syntax: SYSTem:ERRor:COUNt?
Returns: <numeric error code>
Valid Modes: Any
SYSTem:LANGuage
Description: Set or return the current remote language. SCPI is the only language option for the 4540 Series.
Syntax: SYSTem:LANGuage <numeric_value>
Argument: <character data> = { SCPI }
Valid Modes: Any
SYSTem:PRESet
Description: Set 4540 default parameters. Equivalent to pressing the front panel INIT key. See Table 3-3,
Initialized Parameters, for a list of the default values for each parameter.
Syntax: SYSTem:PRESet
Argument: None
