Setup and Clear One Pass PATROL

With this type of PATROL the dome is able to reach a maximum of 130 Preset positions; when it reaches the
last position, the sequence stops.
There are 5 possible ONE PASS PATROL paths:

PATROL 0: the sequence goes to all the stored Preset positions; the user cannot change it.

PATROL 1, 2, 4, 5: these sequences can be defined by the user when the various Preset positions are
stored (see § 6.9.6.1 - Mark Mercer PRESET, page 103).

Press the

key to enter the “CLEAR PATROL SEQUENCE” page, where one or more of the previously

defined “One Pass” PATROL sequences can be deleted (see the section about clearing a PATROL sequence
in § 6.9.5.1 - Setup PATROL and Clear PATROL, page 101).

Walk

PATROL

With Walk PATROL the dome is able to store continuously up to 400 telemetry controls and repeat the
recorded patrol sequence later on.Two Walk PATROL sequences are available.

SET WALK PATROL 1..2
To start recording the corresponding Walk PATROL.

START WALK PATROL 1..2
To start the corresponding Walk PATROL.

STOP WALK PATROL / STOP RECORDING
To stop the patrol in progress or stop recording
controls.

6.9.6

Preset, Scan and Home

In addition to the instructions given in (§ 4.4.1.1 - PRESET, page 46), the PRESET function of the Mark
Mercer protocol requires particular handling. The SCAN and HOME functions are described in section (§
4.4.2 - SCAN MENU, page 48
).
Refer to § 9.2.1 – Dome, page 165 to check the specific limits of the dome.

The HOME function loads the last position reached by the dome using manual controls, before
sending a Scan command. In the dome handbook this position is called “Back”.
