7.4.2.3 Toolbar
This comprises seven graphics keys. Each key is associated with a brief heading that describes the Menu
function corresponding to that key.
Only one key is not associated with functions present in the Menu:
Copy the selected string (in the reference Window) into all the other text grids.
WARNING!!!
The function should only be used to copy strings into the new, user-defined language,
when they are identical in the various languages (protocol names for example). Otherwise the
selected string will be copied in Italian into all the languages.
Clicking on the “Special Characters” key will display, in the bottom of the window, the table for selecting the
various characters, as illustrated below.
7.4.2.4 Text area
The two windows are the core of the programme, it is there that the user can enter the various grids and add
to/edit a new language.
The strings in the reference window cannot be changed, while it is possible to change those in the edit
window, apart from those in Italian.
To enter the various grids just click on the corresponding card tab number. When a grid has been selected, the
programme is ready to accept a new language.
If for some reason the chosen character cannot be inserted from the keyboard, it can be inserted by selecting it
from the “Special Characters” window.
WARNING
The string length is not constant and cannot be modified by the user.
