Cameras

In this card it is possible to manage accepted values and addressing for cameras controlled by the keyboard.
The centre of the table contains a grid and each cell of the grid represents a camera.
Each camera is identified by its position on the grid. The “Camera Info” line shows all the data for the selected
camera.
To simplify identification, the numbers in the far left column contain the address of the first camera in each
line.

1. Select the DVR/MUX assigned to the

cameras (only if in the “General” card
Video/Type: DVR/MUX was chosen).

Grid operating modes

The grid can have one of two meanings, “Telemetry” mode and “Physical address” mode; the top left
corner describes the active operating mode: “Telem.” for the former and “Phys. Addr.” for the latter.
The default value for the grid is Telemetry mode; to pass from one operating mode to the other just click on

the

icon described below.

Telemetry Mode
The user can accept/disable the various cameras and assign them to the more appropriate telemetry line.
A double click on the cell of interest will transform it into a combobox with three choices:

Empty space: choosing this will disable the camera.

A: choosing this will accept the camera and assign it to Telemetry line A (and hence the setup used in
the General card will be valid).

B: choosing this will accept the camera and assign it to Telemetry line B (and hence the setup used in
the General card will be valid).

The “Camera Information” line below the grid shows the address and telemetry line chosen for each
camera.. If the camera has been disabled the message “Disabled” will be shown.

Physical Address Mode
The user can assign a physical address to each camera that differs from the logical address (see § 6.1.2.3 -
Changing the address number associated with the camera, page 73
).
Double-click on the cell of interest to enter the new physical address of the camera.
In “Physical Address” mode the grid will show only the addresses of the accepted cameras; the empty cells
correspond to non-accepted cameras.
Nevertheless, the user may also assign a physical address to a disabled camera by double-clicking on the
empty cell. If the physical address that is entered is valid, the camera will be automatically accepted and
assigned by default to Telemetry A (the keyboard will present a dialog box to provide this information).
Also in this case the “Camera Information” line below the grid will show the physical address for each
camera (but only if the camera has been accepted).
