2.7 Installing the keyboard
Before connecting the keyboard to the power supply make sure the latter is suitable for supplying
a voltage as specified in § 11 - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS, page 176.
To power the keyboard use only and exclusively the power supply provided with the keyboard
itself.
Using inappropriate and/or different equipment could expose personnel and the system to
serious safety hazards.
Procedure for connecting the keyboard:
1. Connect the power supply connector to the corresponding socket on the back of the keyboard (see § 2.3 -
Connectors, page 10).
2. Connect the power supply cable of the power supply.
3. Connect the power supply cable plug to a nearby power supply outlet.
When the display lights up and shows an image this means the keyboard has been installed correctly.

AND CONNECTIONS, page 13.
