7.4.3.12 Examples
7.4.3.12.1 Macro keys: definition and display on the keyboard
• Select the Macro Keys card, draw the background and position the keys as required. In the example there
are 5 camera control keys and 5 DVR control keys.
• Assign the desired functions to the various keys (see § 7.4.3.8 - How to design a map, page 151) and add
a background if desired.
• Transfer the project (click on the icon) to the keyboard and check only the “Macro” checkbox in the
dialog box presented by the programme.
After completing the transfer enable display of the Macro Keys in the Main Menu (see § 4.2.4.6 -
Common keys, page 36). The “esc” key will be displayed automatically by the keyboard.
The illustrations below show the sequence of operations and the appearance of the Macro Keys page on the
keyboard.

Maps: passage to map No. 8 with Level 3 password
1. Select the “No.” option button and
enter the map number.
2. Select the password level.
3. Save and exit.
