4.2.3.1.1 Type – Protocol – Baud rate
If “Type” refers to a model of matrix that is connected, it will be expressed as “number of input
videos/number of monitors”. For example 4/2 means a matrix with 4 input videos and 2 output monitors.
By “Protocol” we mean the communication “language” of the device; if the item DVR/MUX has been
selected, the Protocol coincides with that of the video unit model.
By “Baud rate” we mean the data transmission rate.
See the specific sections of the manual for the correct settings of these parameters (see § 5 - VIDEO
MANAGEMENT, page 51).
The possible combinations are as follows (where the Protocol and/or Baudrate values shown in bold type are
the default settings):
