External DVR/MUX Cameras

The keyboard is able to control up to 16
DVR/MUX's connected in cascade to a
video matrix.
To each DVR/MUX (selected using the
option buttons) can be assigned a maximum
of 100 cameras. The grid refers to these 100
cameras and the configuration system is
practically the same as that described in §
7.4.1.3.2 - Cameras, page 143
.

WARNING
The option buttons are only used for selecting the DVR/MUX, not for accepting them. In §
7.4.1.3.5 - Accepted values, page 145 there is a description of how to enable them.

By checking the corresponding checkboxes
it is possible to enable the external
DVR/MUX's (connected in cascade to a
matrix) (see § 4.2.4.4 - External DVR/MUX,

), various functions(see § 4.2.4.5 -

), and Common keys
(see § 4.2.4.6 - Common keys, page 36).

7.4.2

Keyboard Language

The DCT keyboard is extremely flexible and is able to support 12 different languages. This means that all
messages, titles and names shown on the display can be translated into 12 languages. Of the 12 available, 6 are
default languages and the other 6 are left free for the user to insert his own.
With the Keyboard Language programme the user can add a new set of strings (“new language”). The
programme is structured into 12 grids, one for each language where each cell can contain a character string.
To define a new language the user just has to fill in the various cells.
