6.1.2.4 Numeric keypads with load keys
Some numeric keypads have a key that can be used to load other functions associated with data insertion (for
example, the Home position or Patrol setup), or to edit two different parameters in succession without having
to return to the Main menu.
1. Position occupied by the load key
The possible cases are as follows:
No type of load key.
Load the numeric keypad for selecting the monitor.
Load the numeric keypad for selecting the DVR/MUX.
Load the numeric keypad for selecting the DVR.
Load the numeric keypad for selecting the MUX.
Load the numeric keypad for selecting the camera.
Load the Mark Mercer Patrol setup page (see § 6.9.6.1 - Mark Mercer PRESET, page 103).
Load the “Home” Scan position.
These keys can be used to speed up camera switching operations in the various video units.
Example: to select camera No. 2 connected to DVR No.5:
Usual method:
 in the main menu press the DVR selection key and enter the number 5;
 press the “ enter ” key;
 press the “ esc ” key to return to the Main menu;
 press the camera selection key and enter the number 2;
 press the “ enter ” key;
 press the “ esc ” key to return to the Main menu;
