MACRO KEYS MENU

The macro keys constitute a quick way of carrying out one or more functions by pressing a single key.
It is possible to set the key position, function and image. Macro keys are programmed using the Personal
Computer. For further details see § 7.4.3.7 - “Macro Keys” card, page 150 and the example given in §
7.4.3.12.1 - Macro keys: definition and display on the keyboard, page 160.

In the example macro functions have been stored in 6
keys.

4.5 Direct control area

The direct control area is shown in the illustration below. It can be used to display and enable keys that are
normally present in the “Control menu area” submenus.
In the current version of the keyboard it is only possible to enable the FOCUS menu.

1. Direct control area

This function must be enabled deliberately (see § 4.2.4.6 - Common keys, page 36); if enabled the Focus Menu
key will not be displayed.

The keys present on the display are related to the type of active device at that instant. See the
specific controls for the individual devices to obtain further information regarding the eventuality
of particular operating modes and settings.
