4.2.3.2

Telemetry

This menu is used to set the type of “TELEMETRY” devices that will be controlled by the keyboard. There
are two independent communication lines called “A” and “B”.

4.2.3.2.1

Connector

This parameter is used to define whether the telemetry controls should be sent directly to the devices
connected to the telemetry A or B connectors (Parameter = Telemetry) or whether they are to be sent to a
video unit and from this to the devices (Parameter = Video) (see § 6.1 - Direct control and control using video
systems, page 71
). The “Connector” parameter can be set as “Video” only if the connection is with a matrix
(and MACRO Video protocol) or with a SANYO or SONY DVR/MUX (and SANYO SSP or SANYO HSSP
Telemetry protocol ).

WARNING

For COMMUNICATIONS/VIDEO, if the “Protocol” parameter setting is not MACRO, SONY
MUX,

SONY

DVR,

SANYO

DVR/MU,

SANYO

MUX

or

SANYO

DVR,

in

COMMUNICATIONS/TELEMETRY it is impossible to set the “Connector” parameter to
“Video”.

If the “Connector” parameter is set to “Video”, it is no longer possible to set the
corresponding baud rate parameter (because the baud rate already selected for the VIDEO
protocol will be used).

Every time the “Protocol” parameter is changed, the other parameters are forced to their
default values, including the “Connector” parameter; we therefore recommend setting the
“Protocol” parameter first..
