6.12.4.1 Autopan
Autopan stops when it reaches one of the two limit switches.
If the joystick is operated the dome will continue the movement in progress until one of the two
limit switches is reached.
6.12.5 Patrol (PATTERN)
In the Main menu press the PATROL key to enter the menu for carrying out the movement controls.
START PATTERN 1…3
Starts the corresponding Pattern.
STOP PATTERN 1...3
Stops the corresponding Pattern.
START PATROL
Starts the Patrol.
STOP PATROL
Stops the Patrol.
The Pattern or Patrol function stops when the next position of the movement in progress is
reached (also in the case of joystick operation).
6.12.6 Preset, Scan and Home
WARNING!
The 'Scan' and 'Patrol' instructions given in the dome handbook do not correspond to generally
accepted usage in this handbook: for practical purposes the functions take the 'standard'
meanings and not those suggested by the dome handbook:
 ‘Preset’ means storage of the current position
 ‘Scan’ means the pan & tilt movement towards a previously stored position; in the dome
handbook this function is called ‘Preset’
 ‘Patrol’ means a series of ‘Scans’, where the previously stored positions are reached one
after the other in sequence; in the dome handbook this function is called ‘Scan’.
The PRESET, SCAN and HOME functions are described in sections (§ 4.4.1.1 - PRESET, page 46 and §
4.4.2 - SCAN MENU, page 48).
For the SCC64-1P dome, the PRESET positions can only be stored by OSM.
